2022 March-April

Every year, the editorial staff at Salt Lake magazine scours the land to find the best dining Utah has to offer. This year, we are doing things a little bit differently. In the spirit of Utah’s close-knit and supportive dining industry, we asked some of the top industry professionals to nominate their favorite chefs. The 2022 Salt Lake Magazine Dining Awards presents 12 honorees, each paired by their mutual admiration for each other and love of good food.

Here are the 2022 Salt Lake Dining Award winners: Manoli and Katrina Katsanevas of Manoli’s, nominated by Mike Blocher of Table X; Wali and Mariam Arshad of Afghan Kitchen, nominated by Francis Fecteau of Libation Inc.; Mike Blocher of Table X, nominated by Angie Fuller of Oquirrh; Anny Sooksri of Tea Rose Diner, Chabaar Beyond Thai and Fav Bistro, nominated by Lavanya Mahate of Saffron Valley; Andrew and Angie Fuller of Oquirrh, nominated by Scott Evans of Pago Group; Milo Carrier of Arlo Restaurant, nominated by Steven Rosenberg of Liberty Heights Fresh; and David Chon of Nohm, nominated by Ryan Lowder of the Copper Onion.

Also in the March/April issue of Salt Lake, we’ve all seen the images of a seemingly perfect family life on Instagram, and a good number of those social media stars are from the Beehive State. Some of Utah’s top social media influencers reveal the secrets to their success. And, finally, Salt Lake magazine’s road trip series continues with a journey to the land of coffee roasters and grunge music—see Washington state like you’ve never seen it before.
