The Salt Lake magazine Dining Awards have returned. Following what we’re calling “the lost years,” restaurants are back in the swing of things as well, and we’re calling this year’s Dining Awards a fresh start—“year one,” if you will. Our expert foodie panelists and editors deliberated for weeks, considering a range of select criteria (e.g.: Does it offer a complete dining experience, is it representative of Utah, would you recommend it to a friend, etc.). From there, our panelists and editors produced a list of the most outstanding restaurants in Utah right now, including the restaurant we’re calling the most outstanding: Oquirrh. We’ll announce the full list of outstanding restaurants following the official Dining Awards Ceremony on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023.
The latest issue of Salt Lake magazine also features a look at Utah businesses that have stood the test of time. Few companies can boast 100 years or more of survival and success, so we asked a handful of local, family-owned businesses to share the secret of their staying power.
